I stayed during the weekend of the 2024 Final Four. The Hotel is perfectly located for a brisk walk to State Farm Stadium. My stay was so fantastic that I have to give it a 5-star rating. However, I must point out that food service was unavailable on Saturday night of Final Four weekend. There are countless eateries in the area around the Hotel but they were swamped due to Final Four visitors. Kudos to the Hotel staff. They were candid, forthcoming and pleasant in apprising me of the situation. Other than that matter, the food service was superb in every respect, particularly the breakfast buffet. I plan to stay at the Renaissance upon my next return to Phoenix.

Very clean, nice atmosphere, staff very friendly, modern decor was very nice. We were not impressed with the onsite restaurant. The service was very slow and the food was not what we would have expected with how upscale the rest of the property was.

Check in was very stressful and a bad experience, they had the door locked so we couldnt get in, the valet said he left his key at home and couldnt open the door for us either, the staff at the counter could see us and could hear the valet banging on the window but they still wouldnt open the door, we had to wait till a guest showed up before the door would open so we can get inside to check in.

A higher standard poorly executed. Let me start by saying I went back and forth deciding between this '4 star' property and the 3 star properties next door. The 3 stars were rated higher by travelers but this was a 'nicer' place. What I gave up was free breakfast and free parking for a nicer room and hopefully experience for a getaway with the wife. Unfortunately when we pulled back the sheets the bed looked laid in and the sheet was stained. We called the front desk to request the bed be redone and it took the guy over a half hour to come change the sheets (it was past 11pm by then.). He brought the wrong size and only had a top and bottom sheet. We were tired and helped him make the bed. He tried to make the situation right but admitted making beds wasn't a skill he had. The next day I asked the cleaning lady to change everything which she did. Needless to say it wasn't the romantic experience we hoped for. $20/night to park. When I checked out the front desk lady asked if there were any problems and when I shared what had happened she asked if they had given us anything for trouble. I stated no and she asked if I was a Bonvoy member (I'm not) and then she waited a moment and asked me if I wanted a printed receipt-so I guess if you're a member and get the dirty sheet experience they do something for you and if not then your SOL. If I had to choose again I would have stayed at one of the 3 stars places next door, saved some $ and had a free breakfast and parking.

Hotel great. Staff not very friendly inside. Outside valet great. Restaurant very dissatisfied. Crispy Brussels great. Rib eye terrible. Ordered medium hot well done tough. Carrots hard not curable. Potatoes tasted like oil. Terrible dinner. Table was unclean when sat down and not a crowded restaurant. Extremely disappointed. Most Marriott have good restaurants.

Everything was great, but the room Was hot. The air came on and showed that it was working but it was never cool in there. We weren’t there long enough to change rooms but overall it was a nice place to stay

Great hotel
Always a great stay at this location . The hotel is being renovated so not everything was available but thats ok . Only speed bump of the trip was the red wine stains on the sheets and pillow cases . Brings into question how clean the room really was . Hotel was quick to replace after being brought to there attention.
