”L'Orangerie d'Epoque is an absolutely unique experience. The room is very high and comfortable with furniture that brings to mind my grandmother's house. Another very nice feature is a pleasant private garden, which is at the disposal of the guests. The house is near the historical centre of Lecce. I was there in quite hot weather in June, and the room remained very cool and comfortable. It was, however, NOT air-conditioned, as was advertised. When I asked about this, the lady of the house said:...

We got lucky with parking but parking is an issue throughout Italy. ”The best location you can get in Lecce. Steps from the centro historico, quiet even though it's on a relatively busy street, with easy, gated parking right in front of the Dimora. A beautiful old converted mansion. The breakfasts were tasty, plentiful, and the service was great. If you like staying in a city center, this is a great choice, and with the easy parking, coming and going is a snap. The room wasn't large, but it had a lovely balcony and was bright and airy. We'll stay there again.”
