Box Tree Cottage is only steps away from the town centre with an abundance of amenities, including a selection of traditional pubs, restaurants and independent shops. The heritage steam train winds its way from Pickering over the rolling heather, through valleys and over hills to many picturesque villages all the way to Whitby. The North York Moors is a haven for walkers with many trails to explore and an abundance of wildlife. Dalby Forest is wonderful to explore in all seasons, with woodland walks as well as cycle trails. There are many wonderful attractions as well as places of natural beauty all within easy reach, making this an ideal base to discover.
