âThis was a no-frills, simple hotel. It was a great value, and was clean, quiet, and relaxing. The staff were so kind, and laid back. The view from the patio in our room was lovely. The shared kitchen area was a nice place to cook a meal, and there were three adorable cats around the property who we loved petting. The location was great for exploring various parts of Pico. â

âWe really enjoyed our stay at Pico Terramar & Spa. The staff was very friendly, the hotel had very calm and relaxed atmosphere, everything was very new and clean and we loved the spa section with finnish sauna, bathtub and pools inside & outside. Only a short (15-20min) walk away from Madalena port and also a supermarket nearby. Highly recommend! â

Cons: unpleasant showers and toilets (lights broken, hot water not always working, shower holders broken etc.), poor soundproofing
It was nice that the breakfast included even thought the breakfast was very simple â

âGreat location in Velas, beautiful property with pool, sitting deck with ocean view, sunsets and Morro Grande view and hiking within 10 minutes walk. Close to supermarket and restaurants, ideal location in Velas. Good buffet breakfast. Beds were a little too firm for me but great for my partner...highly recommended for location, cleanliness and great staff! â

âGreat location, clean, comfortable bed. Only issue was that there is no full time reception, at least in the off-season, so when I went to drop my bag off without notice, nobody was there. But they were very responsive and let me in quite quickly.â
