”I have used VRBO several times and have been pleased but this time, not so muchI rented this house due to hot tub and food ball table for entertainment purposes The hot tub was gross and in need of major cleaning and the football table was a toy I was there a few days before the Mc rally but apparently paid rally prices. Due to the house being so expensive I expected more than I gotThe hot tub was cleaned the next day so we did get a little use of it.”

”Arrived to a split level home that did not have street number on mailbox and had been pried off the house. No keypad at door as directed, fenced in back yard. Called host and left message and she returned call within a few minutes. She confirmed we were at the right place and that they were working on the house/ soon to be sided, which is why number removed. Keypad was at upstairs deck in BACK yard. I was wound a little tight at this point - not sure I had the right house, not a lovely home at...

”Beautiful location! We loved the creek and morning walks. The cabin could use a little TLC. Broken blinds and the smell of something bad, especially downstairs. Hot tub was good. Cabin seemed to have most supplies except a fly swatter…lol! Overall a good experience.”

”We have traveled over three continents… Near and far… And honestly, this is the best vacation rental we have ever known! Amazing! It was cleaner and nicer and more perfectly outfitted than is even described on the website. Everything is made for the convenience of the visitors… The place is comfortable, clean, quiet. The beds are lovely and cozy! It’s obvious that Chuck put a lot of thought and care into making this a perfect place for a vacation rental. Everything is immaculate when you walk in...

”Excellent appliances and set up! Comfortable bed and relaxing living room. Perfect for exploring Black Hills area and returning to this space for an evening of relaxation or rest before enjoying Rapid City. Location is handy with easy access to interstate. Road noise (as some other reviews have mentioned) at times is present, but was not bothersome. Highly recommend for a couple’s getaway that wants to blend Rapid City activities with Black Hills area. (We spent time in Badlands NP and Wind Cave...

”I had a great stay at the Sojourn!! The host has great communication and the space was very clean! The room smelled a bit funky when I first arrived (like food), but I think it was the AC that’s in the kitchen area. Besides that, everything was wonderful! Good location, and a nice place if wanting to stay near Badlands NP without being too far or too pricey!! Would definitely stay at the Sojourn again if I ever come back!”
