”Great place and staff”

”The clean rooms and beautiful views were a highlight. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, providing excellent information about hikes and other activities. We even had to take a 3:00 a.m. bus, but the staff went above and beyond by packing us a delicious breakfast and leaving it for our early morning departure.”

”Clean room and friendly staff. Location is close to the trails, but a little noisy from the wind being on the north side of town. Lovely place to stay!”

”The location was great and the vibe was mountain chic, with comfy common areas and even heated floors in our room. We were only there for one night, so can’t really say much more. It’s a very tourist/trekker friendly town, so prices are higher and this hostel followed suit. For a short stay, it was lovely but pricey.”

”We had no electricity from 9pm to 7am. The keys are old metal keys that you need to enter blindly into a whole, we kept earing people swearing while turning their keys 17time before their doors open. Its so incredibly noisy. The bed was comfy and the shower hot, theres easy parking too. But for the noise id recommend something else if you need to sleep early/well pre-hiking.”

”This hotel was amazing! Great service, amazing restaurant, the most awesome view from our room (valley view). The personnel was very, very helpful with all of our requests, and the restaurant staff was amazing. Everything was great! The privately-bookable mini spa with jacuzzis and infrared saunas was especially great, with awesome views.”

”Great place to stay in El Chalten. Easy enough to walk to the main areas of town and this a good base for hiking.”

”Poor staff attitudes, Far from welcomjng and not keen at all on helping, we found reception and also breakfast staff rather unhelpful. We had free drinks per day with our booking yet was not told about them when checked in. When we queried it they were very evasive like it was a problem. We got them but it wasnt a welcoming experience. Had dinner at the hotel one night, average and again not the best service. For the quality and price of the hotel I would have expected far kinder and nicer...

”Had a wonderful stay! The staff were super friendly and incredibly helpful—they even accommodated changes to my booking despite it being non-refundable, which I really appreciated. The room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was good, with plenty of options, and the coffee was excellent (very strong—just how I like it!). The only minor issue was that the bathtub drained quite slowly, but it wasn’t a big deal for me. Overall, great value and service—I’d definitely stay here again!”

”We were not impressed with our stay here. We stayed for two nights and our private room was never serviced. When we arrived there was a yellow stain on the top sheet of our bed. We asked them to replace the sheet and they did, only to replace it with another sheet that also had mysterious stains. The bed did not have a fitted sheet but rather a larger top sheet that rested on the mattress which moved around as you slept, leaving you to sleep on the bare mattress. The bathroom had an awful smell...

”This lodge embodies the el Chalten vibe - unpretentious, friendly, easy to work with and helpful. Santiago and his staff had spot on suggestions on everything from the best hiking routes, weather forecasts and places for dinner and drinks.”

”A casa super atendeu nossas necessidades, para quem quiser tomar cafe da manha, a casa tem todos os utensilios necessarios. A localizacao da casa é um pouco afastada, entao para quem esta sem carro nao é muito bom. Barbara foi fantastica, deu varias dicas de restaurantes, informacoes sobre as trilhas, praticamente uma guia. Fantastica! ”
