Excellent hotel with excellent service. Hot springs area was amazing and much bigger than expected. We visited here in low season (May) and there were zero crowds in the hotel nor hot springs. If you go to this hotel, make sure you enjoy the hot springs at night time as well.

Et fascinerende hotel med en unik beliggenhed. Hotellet og de tilhørende faciliteter fremstår lidt slidte, men steder udstråler sin egen særlige historie- vi oplevede en helt særlig ro og atmosfære. Haven er fantastisk. Nærmest en lille park på bjergsiden med frit udsyn til Arenal vulkanen.

The owner was very friendly and answered all my questions over WhatsApp leading up to check in. He went above and beyond and left us some food when we checked in at 9pm after a long travel day. The view was spectacular and the room was clean.
