Matthew, Admittedly, we are shocked by this review. We are not aware of any mold issues in the cabin, past or present. No other guest nor our cleaner has mentioned any water buildup whatsoever. The cabin is cleaned several times per week and we visit the cabin ourselves frequently. The noted dent in the wall was from a guest, about the size of the toe of someone’s shoe, not a body. We are aware of this, have photos of it, and plan to repair it the next time we are there. Yes, the microwave handle was cracked and repaired with epoxy, but the microwave itself is fully functional, which is why we have not replaced it. No guest was charged for this, as you alluded to. The concerns you have stated in your review were never brought to our attention during or after your stay. We have had two reservations since your stay and there has been no evidence of mold or water buildup. This is the first review we have ever received that hasn’t been 4 or 5 stars and feel that it inaccurately represents our rental.
