”I just wish we could have spent more time here. It was one of the cleanest properties any of us had ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything needed for a longer stay and one of my favorite parts of our stay…lots of extra clean, very soft blankets for everyone. If we ever return to this area, I would definitely stay here again.”

”The house was clean (spotless) and everything was as advertised and welcoming. The 3-bedroom was plenty for my family and the beds were comfortable. John was easy to communicate with as well. We just stayed the night this time but if needed we'll definitely consider renting from him again.”

”Location is convenient to shops and Cumberland Gap Park. The owner was quick to remedy a problem with the air conditioner. The house does have the amount of beds to sleep the listed amount of guests. The place would benefit from having enough bath towels for the number of guests it can accommodate. I took my own towels after reviewing a previous post. Extra toilet paper and plenty of hand soap in bathrooms would be nice as well. The other recommendation would be more chairs to eat at a table...

”The house was quaint, cozy, and located in a very peaceful neighborhood. While the home could use some repairs, cleaning, and updating, we still enjoyed our stay overall. Our favorite features were the large garden tub, the quiet surroundings, and the close proximity to the lake. The host was very informative and communicative throughout our stay, which we appreciated.”

”Of the many places I have stayed through VRBO and Air B&B, this was the most beautiful. Unfortunately, of the places I've stayed, this kitchen was the worst. You will have a stunning view of the rolling Appalachian hills and a lake. But you won't be able to cook a meal for your gathering (and we had gathered to celebrate the life of a loved one who had died). With the price tag, you'd expect to be able to use an oven. Forget it. Whoever used it last left it reeking as if they'd slaughtered...
