”We stayed here on a Car Club weekend with a large party of friends including an annual dinner. Although the staff were helpful and tried their best to provide a good service, there were too few of them; especially on the Sunday evening. Apparently, there were only 5 out of 25 staff that should have been on duty meaning there was no housekeeping (therefore rooms not serviced) and the kitchen, bar and waiting staff were hard pressed to keep up with demand. The food, when it eventually arrived,...

”The beds were clean. But the hotel staff never cleaned at the promised time. Very insincere. And the Wi-Fi is very poor. There are parks and steak restaurants around, so it's okay.”

”Our room was lovely, clean and well maintained. The only quibble we had was that the £14 breakfast feels wasn't really worth the money. After asking for a second drink, we were told that we were only allowed one drink and would have to pay for the second drink and which we had to pay £3.50 when handing in our key and therefore we won't be staying at The Carrington Arms again!!”

”Bed very comfortable, one of the best we have had in a hotel, we'll appointed room, and added bonus of air con. Large shower, which was modern and clean. And the two evening meals, we had during our stay were excellent. Downside was the cost of breakfast £14+, plus extra £2 if booked on the day. Perhaps they could offer alternative of nice coffee and sour dough toast for a reduced price? Also coffee/tea/milk not replenished in room so I ended up having camomile tea... Staff very helpful too....
