”“Water view” is misleading - I assumed we were in the back overlooking the sound. No. We saw the parking lot, the 4 lane road, then a sliver of water. The blinds in our room do not cover the entire window edge to edge. Coffee maker- no cups. No soap in the dispenser at the sink.”

”A small but very clean and well maintained motel. Comfortable beds and quiet HVAC. Close to casual food options.”

”The only complaint we had was the door to get to the rooms slammed shut once opened. It probably needs a catch on it to slowly close. It was pretty nerve wracking at 2am but other than that we loved it. Great continental breakfast!”

”Nothing fancy but a fun place to stay next to the ocean”

”The eggs an turkey sausage at breakfast were terrible. Had to make do with cereal, fruit and prepackaged muffins. Hotel itself was good. Large suite with cooktop, full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and keurig.”

”First, the "oceanfront" label is misleading. You cannot see the ocean from this property — and as every beach traveler knows, we pay extra for oceanfront specifically to *see the ocean*. Neither Expedia nor the property's own listings make this clear. They need to be honest about this in their advertising. Second, privacy and security are real concerns. My suite's sliding door opens essentially straight onto the beach with no barrier — I never felt safe leaving it open to hear the waves,...

”While this property was built in 1939 and therefore are smaller rooms, it has retained the lovely charm of its day and incorporated modern amenities. It is well-maintained and clean. Breakfast was good and the staff was attentive to the area. While the dunes prevent a view of the ocean, it is just a short walk to the beach. It is close to the Wright Brothers National Memorial and Monument, which was our primary reason for our stay.”

”Loved that there was a continental breakfast included as well as an evening wine and snacks provided. Perfect location for beach access. Only suggestion I would have is having beach chairs and a pool shade umbrella - even for a fee. We flew in and rented a car so had to go out and purchase beach chairs”

”Amazing”

”looks a little rough on the outside but very cute and clean inside! AC was great and walkable to the beach!”

”Great location just needs a face lift”
