Great base to explore the region: coastal villages and beaches, Girona, Figueres with its Dali museum, Besalu, Banyoles,... all within 45 minutes by car. For peace and quiet in the typical Catalan surroundings you don't even have to leave the property: the swimming pool on the forested terrain is an absolute plus. Helen and Joan very available without any intrusion at all, even though they have their own house about 100m away. Ideal for a family...

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Vermieter, der ausgesprochen nett, hilfsbereit und zuverlässig war. Von der Buchung bis zur Abreise hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit – wir kommen gerne wieder!”

”My extended family of 14 had a wonderful stay at Mascaros . It is a huge 500 year old mansion with thick walls and floors of stone . The rooms were large with high ceilings and the house and kitchen were fully equipped. Outi arranged for neighbor, a chef , to cater a birthday party for us one night which was great and included a paella . There were many nice beaches close by which we drove to and Girona was a close town to visit. The house has many fans to help with cooling and the 2 third floor...

”Nous étions un groupe de 4 adultes et 3 enfants 7,6 et 5 ans . Très belle maison , fonctionnelle , bien équipée. Situation géographique optimale , avec la plage à 15 min à pied et le centre du village , également à 15 min à pied . Supermarché à moins de 3 min en voiture. Super séjour !”

”Hemos pasado dos noches en esta bonita casa de la Garrotxa. Nos recibió Angels, la propietaria, que con mucha amabilidad nos explicó todo. El sitio es ideal, cerca de Olot, pero en medio de las montañas. La casa preciosa, perfectamente equipada, no le falta ningún detalle y está decorada con mucho gusto. Hemos disfrutado de la terraza, la barbacoa, y el inmenso jardín con la piscina. Una experiencia para repetir.”

Pour une première fois dans cette région, la maison nous a offert un havre de calme et de repos tout en étant parfaitement située autant d'un point de vue local que régional. Tout est confortable, en nombre, propre. L'entretien est de qualité et effectué de manière très discrète. La maison dispose de tous les services, c'est vraiment top ! Bref, nous recommandons et espérons avoir l'occasion d'y revenir à l'avenir. Benoît”
