Welcome to the Warren Castle, a historic Pittsburgh estate overlooking the stunning downtown skyline. Located the heart of Pittsburgh's infamous Northside neighborhood, don't miss the chance to stay in this beautifully renovated 2-bed, 1-bath first-floor unit. Enjoy modern amenities, sleek design, and a convenient location close to local hotspots.

The space

Welcome to your chic urban escape! This newly renovated space exudes modern charm and functionality. The open-concept layout invites you into a bright and airy living area complete with a large flat-screen TV, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploration. The kitchen boasts quartz countertops, contemporary white cabinets, and stainless steel appliances, including a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary pods for your morning brew.

The unit has 2 full beds and a couch. The bathroom features contemporary fixtures and new subway tile surround. Washer dryer located in basement (coin operated).

Guest access

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire first-floor unit, providing privacy and convenience. Additionally, a private back deck awaits, offering a tranquil spot to unwind amidst the city buzz. Parking available in the driveway.

Other things to note

To maintain a peaceful environment, we utilize noise monitors to ensure our neighbors' comfort. We welcome furry friends for an additional fee of $25 per day per pet, making it easier for you to bring your beloved companions along for the trip.

Great location, close drive to everything. The view of the city was amazing at night. The host was great, touching base daily to make sure we did not need anything. The space was very well decorated and a good size. The unit had everything we needed for our stay. Will for sure stay again!

Very very unorganized hostess… actually wasn’t even the hostess he was on vacation apparently so his assistant was the one in charge. The description to the place wasn’t accurate, tried calling 5 times & didn’t get an answer until 20 minutes after the fact. Hostess said he would call me to help figure out the location & by no surprise he took another 10 minutes to call me. So from the time I parked until I actually got into the rental half an hour already went by. From my experience it wasn’t him who was lost so he didn’t really care apparently he was “to busy” also didn’t have hot water the whole entire weekend we were there. When I notified the hostess about it he accused me of not telling him when I first found it… WHEN I FIRST PUT ON THE WATER I NOTIFIED HIM IMMEDIATELY. The view of the place is amazing, but other than that it was nothing special. I’ve stayed at a lot of other places in Pittsburgh and you aren’t missing much with this place. Hostess was rude definitely will not be staying here again.

The place was beautiful and the rooms were comfortable, however there were several issues that made our room less than ideal. The sign marking the actual entrance to our rented part of the residence was missing. The outside light and overhead lights inside the living room did not work. The other tenants in the building were noisy to the point of disrupting sleep. Finally and most importantly, we had no hot water the entire stay. All of these issues were communicated during our stay, but there was no resolution during our stay.

Was looking forward to the castle for our annual baseball trip. It did have great views and very convenient for what we needed. We had no HOT WATER the whole 3 days we stayed there on a very hot weekend. The owner told me cause the weekend it will be hard to find someone to fix it. At 1000.00 total and no compensation offered. I really thought we had a place to stay every year

We stayed here from July 3-6. On the first day of our stay I reported that the hot water was not working. I reached out to the property owner and they suggested I run the water for 5 minutes to get it to warm up. After running the water for 7 minutes I reached back out to to let the property manager know it did not work. I communicated the issue daily with the property manager and reported my issue to VRBO. We ran the water for over 5 minutes each day of our visit to see if it would heat up after running the water longer, it did not. The property manager never sent anyone over to fix the issue eventhough it was stated that he would, and did not respond to any of my messages on the 5th which would have been the day to get the hot water fixed for us since we were leaving on the 6th. This had a very negative impact on my trip and they are unwilling to provide compesation for our poor experience since they never fixed the problem.

Great stay!

My partner and I had a wonderful short stay at Warren Castle! The house itself is beautiful, and has a convenient parking lot attached. The inside is cozy and comfortable, and has a beautiful view of the Pittsburgh skyline. Travel to and from town was easy, the neighborhood is nice and quiet, and the host is very responsive. Would recommend staying here if you are in the area!

Great place

Stayed here for 2 nights while we visited Pittsburgh for an event. The owner was extremely detailed with everything and answered all of my questions within reasonable time. It’s a very cool area and the building itself is super unique! Definitely would recommend.

Great spacious unit!

Our host, Tom, was terrifically communicative and responded promptly to any emails and questions. The apartment is very spacious and airy. It is comfortable, well appointed, and even has soft towels! (rare in rentals, I find). My only caveat, and this has to do with my lack of knowledge of Pittsburgh and not any fault of the property or host, is that I pictured it to be in more of a neighborhood that has stores and restaurants in the immediate vicinity (it is in a residential area). We had our car, so it was very easy to get around to anything we wanted. And if you are a good walker, you can walk down (and then back up!) to a few spots. But that being said, we greatly enjoyed our comfortable stay with amazing views, a porch to enjoy them, and as I said a very roomy unit (with bedrooms on either side of the living room, allowing for optimal privacy.
