We would actually consider staying there in a different room but the white cabin with the thatched roof was awkward and uncomfortable to the point that we left after one night even though we knew we wouldn't get a refund. You can tell from the photos that some of the description is inaccurate (It's just one bedroom and doesn't have a private pool though there is one pool for all guests to share.) but...

It was raining a lot and we were not offered an alternative but to wait pretty much in our car or go back later. We were 6 people with kids and elderly, waiting for a room for two hours in the rain and not alternative but to come back or wait in the car while it is raining heavily should not be an alternative. ”The house was unexpectedly nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the cool (unheated) but not cold, jacuzzi pool after a long hot day in Manuel Antonio park. This is a nice place, but they really, really, need to let folks know that this place is very remote and the road is very bad. Great if you want to bring everything and just stay there, but it is a 45 minute drive on bad, unlit roads to come or go from the lodge. We could see several places where the hillside had given way into the road and one...
