”The grounds are beautiful and the facility was clean and well-kept. Staff members were pleasant. We would actually consider staying there in a different room but the white cabin with the thatched roof was awkward and uncomfortable to the point that we left after one night even though we knew we wouldn't get a refund. You can tell from the photos that some of the description is inaccurate (It's just one bedroom and doesn't have a private pool though there is one pool for all guests to share.) but...

”My family and I stayed here for 6 nights and had the most amazing time! The property is absolutely gorgeous, peaceful, and just the right amount of isolation in the mountains. "Starting with the positives: the view was just amazing, from my room I saw both the sea and the jungle, and sitting on the terrace during a thunderstorm, listening the howlers and looking at the scarlet macaws flying from a tree to tree was an incredible experience. I also liked the breakfast and food in general, and the staff was friendly. On the other hand, the room was very basic, only a bed, chair, table and a coffee machine, shampoo and poor quality towels in the bathroom. 2 plastic chairs and a table at the terrace. I had booked a room for 3, with a futon sofa; there was no futon in the room. When I complained about this, they asked why do I need a futon. Well, in principle I would like to get what I pay for. The manager was not ”available” to address my complaint, and also during the check-out the same staff member ignored my complaint. For a price of almost 300$/night I would expect more comfort in the room."
