Our cabin is one of the few in the area with a full home backup generator, keeping the heat, lights, Wi-Fi, and essential appliances running during Vermont’s unpredictable winter storms. It activates automatically — you don’t need to do a thing.

Please note: the hot tub and dryer do not run on generator power, but the rest of the home remains fully functional.

Other Things to Note

Parking: Ample private parking is available directly in front of the cabin for up to three vehicles.

✹ ADDITIONAL GUEST COST: The base price is set for 2 guests. There is an extra charge of $15 per additional guest per night. Up to 6 total guests total including children.

✹ PETS: A maximum of three pet are permitted. The Pet fee is $210 for the first pet and $120 for the second pet, and $90 for the third pet. If you bring 2 or 3 pets, let us know as Airbnb`s system only allows us to charge for one pet automatically so we will have to send a request to pay those fees. Please note that pets are not allowed on furniture or beds. Additional cleaning fees will be imposed if pets have been allowed on furniture or beds.

Absolutely No Parties: This luxury retreat is situated in a peaceful, high-end residential area. We uphold a strict no-party policy to ensure the tranquility of our neighbors and guests. Bookings found to violate this policy will result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund and may incur additional charges.

PATHWAY & STEPS TO THE CABIN: After parking in the driveway, you’ll take a short walk uphill to reach the cabin. The path includes a few wide, rustic steps built into the hillside with timber framing and gravel in between. They aren’t steep, but there is a gentle incline, so it’s good to be prepared if you’re carrying luggage or groceries. Most guests find it an easy, scenic walk through the trees, but we like to mention it so no one is caught off guard.

Once at the cabin, there are three steps leading up to the front door, and additional steps connecting the different levels of the deck and hot tub area. All steps are sturdy and well built, but we recommend bringing a small flashlight if you’re arriving after dark, just to make your walk easier.

EARLY CHECK-INS: We understand that early check-ins can be convenient, allowing you to settle in sooner and make the most of your time in our house. We assume you would want an early check-in, so you don`t have to ask. However, please kindly note that early check-ins are subject to the availability of our cleaning team and the time required to prepare the house to meet our high standards of cleanliness and comfort for every guest. Additional fees apply for early check-ins.

While we can`t promise an early check-in at this moment, we can guarantee that we will make every effort to accommodate your request if the house is ready before the standard check-in time. Rest assured that we will inform you about the possibility of an early check-in on the day of your check-in date. We assume you prefer an early check-in, SO THERE IS NO NEED TO REQUEST ONE as we will automatically let you know on the day you check in.

If you are driving a long distance and are hoping to check in early, we would suggest planning to arrive in the area early enough that once the cabin is ready, we can let you know that you are close enough to take advantage of the early check-in. You could do some grocery shopping or grab some lunch while waiting for us to let you know.

LATE CHECK-OUTS: We understand the desire for a late check-out and provide you with some extra time to relax and enjoy our lovely house. As hosts, we always strive to accommodate our guests` preferences whenever possible.

Our ability to extend a late checkout will depend on whether a guest is checking in on the same day that you are checking out. If a guest is checking in later that day, then we need to give our cleaner adequate time to get the house cleaned and prepared. We recommend checking in with us the evening before your reservation ends to see if a late checkout is possible. Additional fees apply for late check-outs.

Deadline: Please message us by 10:00 PM the night before. After that, our cleaners may be offline and we can’t confirm availability.
• Morning-of requests can’t be accommodated. It’s too late to adjust schedules on the day of checkout.
• Approval depends on our cleaning team and incoming reservations. If you don’t receive written confirmation from us, your original checkout time still applies.

MAX OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 6 OVERNIGHT guests. Please make sure to account for all adults and children, including infants, in the count on your reservation.

ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO DRINK AND BE LOUD, PLEASE DON`T BOOK WITH US. This home is in a quiet neighborhood, and if our guests are loud, the neighbors will call the police, so just book another place if that is what you plan to do.
