”We were family of 16. We enjoyed our stay at The Fox House. Family was accommodated very well in this home. Enjoyed having Chef dinner at the Fox House one evening. The grounds are so very beautiful and well cared for including pool area. Our only regret that the weather was poor cold and 3x average rain which did spoil enjoying the outdoors during most of our stay. The grandkids did polar plung and made the most of it.”

”This is by far the best property I've ever booked through Expedia. The house sits on the edge of a beautiful working farm, across an ancient Roman bridge. A lovely ten-minute walk into town, you cross another bridge that offers a spectacular view the river. The owners live nearby and are the most hospitable and generous hosts imaginable, sharing fresh produce from their farm and knowledge of the area.”

”Solar da Capela is very clean hospitable family hotel. They went out of their way to assist. We came to Sao Padro de Sul mainly for Thermal pools. We went to many places where we enjoyed thermal pools for a whole day, but this place only allow one hour at high price. This kills small hotel business. ”Our stay at Casa da Insua was a dream! The property is just stunning, with the vast gardens, vineyards, a pool, and even sheep grazing! The interior of the castle is its very own museum, with plenty of rooms and halls to explore. Our room was the perfect combination of historic charm and modern hotel luxury.
