”Graham and Krista have put together a fabulous chic modern hotel that was a pleasure to stay at for our weekend getaway to Lake Wallenpaupack. The Lakelyn Lodge in Lakeville PA is a newly renovated hotel with a fabulous eye to detail and with great finishing touches. We were extremely pleased with the attention to our needs and the attentiveness of the owners. It was a top notch experience from start to finish. We highly recommend the Lakelyn Lodge and look forward to staying here again!”

”Everything was fine overall. Clean, no issues but weird barn style bathroom door leaves very little privacy. Sink was clogged, we managed. Room had a connecting room that we could hear early morning tv next door very clearly. Only 1 night stay so overall room was fine. Breakfast not included but kids eat free. Problem is the free kids menu isn’t at the table, its on the back of a kids coloring paper you grab yourself. Confirmed that kids ate free before ordering but ended up not being free...

”This was one of the nicest "budget" hotels we've ever stayed in. The staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was fresh. The location was perfect, right off I-80. We only stayed one night on our way to New Hampshire, but we would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.”

”There is a lot to like about this bed and breakfast: the location, cleanliness, the staff’s eagerness to help, and the hot tub and pool. It is unusual to have these facilities open at all times of day, and we really appreciated this, since we spent most of the day out. Our bed was soft but relatively comfortable, although the noise from the road meant that we could not keep the window open. We were disappointed, however, by a couple of things, especially the practicality of our room, as well as...

”The motel was run down and smelled strongly of smoke and food. Breakfast was poor, we didn't even eat. The woman on reception was unhelpful, when asking about laundry was made to feel an inconvenience. We had to get change from another hotel and the dispenser for soap was broken. I've stayed in other Super 8s that were far superior.”

”Checking in was fast. Staff were professional and pleasant. Clean overall. However our room had a broken curtain rod and the curtain was stained. Air conditioner was very loud making it difficult to sleep throughout the night. I believe this property is non-smoking, but there were people outside the main entrance smoking. We had to walk through a cloud of smoke to enter a non-smoking building….I didn’t appreciate that as a non-smoker. No breakfast at this motel.”

”This property was great! We are already talking about going back during the summer. The highlight of our trip was the lake beach. Our kids enjoyed it, as we were lucky to have very nice weather in April. They got to play in the shallow end! The property itself is very clean, modern, and cozy. The property owner was very responsive leading up to our trip and during our stay! We had a great, relaxing getaway and didn’t want to leave. We hope to return soon! ”
