Linnat – Pocono Mountains

”The humidity was out of control. Our floors were wet and slippery. Bathrooms are tiny and the area was dirty (very dusty, ring in toilet, and other people's hair in the shower). There were people smoking and the smell came in our room. The body soap is actually shampoo. This is a "you get what you paid for" place. On the plus side, the staff were very nice!”

”The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and professional, and the property itself is a wonderful and well kept historical hotel. Even staying on a ground floor room facing the street, we had a quiet and peaceful stay, and we're able to enjoy the balcony. Parking is available, but be aware that the lot at the main property fills up, as can the closest overflow lots. This is less an issue of the hotel, and more just something that comes with visiting Jim Thorpe & it having very limited parking....

”We walked in and were greeted right away with a smile. The nice lady at the front desk wore many hats but that didn’t stop her from making our stay comfortable and easy. When passing house keeping in the hallway they welcomed us with a smile and a polite hello. The lobby was clutter free, clean, and cheerful. Our room was clean, spacious, and modern. Breakfast was great and the fresh pancake machine put a fun twist on it. We will definitely stay there again when visiting the area. We highly...

”I booked and paid for my stay in full through Expedia before arriving at the hotel. Despite this, the hotel charged my credit card again for one night’s stay without my authorization, claiming that they could not see the payment from Expedia. I contacted Expedia and confirmed that my reservation had already been successfully paid in full. When I asked the hotel to verify the payment directly with Expedia before charging me again, the staff was completely unhelpful and refused to assist....
