”We arrived late at night and the receptionist while unable to help with what restaurants might be open that late, she friendly. Our room was clean and in good shape. We were very happy with the accommodations”

”Bed and pillows were super comfy. Loved the little balcony. Shower was great but the vanity needs to be updated. Everything was super clean and the view was nice. The town in general is quaint and exceptionally clean. Would definitely book again.”

”Room was very clean. Bed was firm. Walls and ceiling are wooden which gives it a fun retro feeling. Room is small and basic. I really like this place for their fresh complementary breakfast.”

”The lodge is lovely and definitely a pearl along the drive. My only complaint is that in order to sit in the dining room or on the back deck in the sun, is if you reserve to have their fixed price dinner. It was sunny when we got there and we wanted a beer on the back deck … we were handed two cans of beer at the front desk and told we could wander anywhere on the property, but the back deck was closed off.”

”Wendy was the ultimate host. So friendly and welcoming. She took the time to chat with us too. The hot tub was a treat after a long day of driving. Large shared kitchen and common area. Our room #5 had a private bathroom and big bed. She's so popular that you might want to book two nights. We couldn't extend our stay because she was so busy. Highly recommend it. It reminded me of the old travelling days staying in a hostel with a private suite. ”
