”Super impressed with this hotel! Wasn’t expecting much given its location but it’s been beautifully designed and feels like a mini resort with spa, bar and lovely restaurant with an outside area. The only downside was the charge to use the pool which was not pointed out until after booking.”

”The room was exceptionally clean as was the bathroom. There was constant hot water in the shower. The bed was comfortable, although I did find the pillows a bit unforgiving. The soundproofing was excellent, which ensured a good night’s sleep.”

”A bit hit and miss, convinced I booked a club room through Expedia, free parking and swim and breakfast. Apparently I hadn't ( according to the Hotel ) so had to pay to park, they waivered the swim payment as we only had an hour left on a Sunday ( closed at 1930 ) Checked in on a Sunday and forgot the following day was a Monday so arrived at 0900 for breakfast which was all over, so a bit of a disaster, some my own doing for not reading the breakfast times properly.”

”Didn’t appreciate paying for parking”

”We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms.”
