”Beautiful & simplistic cottage. I absolutely loved the property. I stayed in #4, that had a private fire pit and grill in the backyard adorned with string lights. I highly recommend for a cute little weekend getaway. My only con is that the wifi is kinda spotty so if you have a mobile hotspot bring it. ”

”Beautiful and cozy home with a great ambiance! We loved staying here. The hot tub was such a bonus! Everything was perfect with the home! Unfortunately, while we were in town we thought ubering would be possible since rental cars were pretty pricey. Don’t be like us! Spend the money on a rental and avoid the headache! We ended up paying a busboy at 185 king street to get back to the house haha Everything else was perfect!”

”The Griffin’s Lair is absolutely charming. Everything thought of to ensure a homey stay. We particularly loved the super comfortable beds, well appointed art, and gorgeous pottery to eat on. Close to everything by foot or by uber. Hope to return sometime, soon! ”

”Beautiful and relaxing!! If you're a nature lover you can't ask for more!! Surrounded by Rhododendron on a creek with many little waterfalls....and trout.....at the end of a gravel road! Moss covered boulders that when we walked up to front of the cabin many little blue/purple butterflies exploded up from the ground!!! Wow!!”

”Misty Mountains, just beautiful! Best hosts I have ever come across. You feel really welcome by all the personal touches throughout. Checked all my boxes, such as good shower pressure, comfy bed, linens and great pillows. Well stocked kitchen. Centrally located with tons to do. After a rain, we saw 7 turkeys come out to dry their feathers. We didn't find the road too bad but can see why an AWD is recommended and no low riders. We will return )”

”Our cabin was tastefully appointed. The furniture and king bed were very comfortable. All the appliances were fairly new and functioned well. We will definitely book this property in the future.”

It's very close to Cashiers yet private and peaceful. As a former VRBO property owner and now as a frequent VRBO renter I am picky so I can honestly say that this is a 5 star experience for sure.
