Chalet't – Pohjois-Hobart

”Last second booking turned into a really nice stay. Old-building character with all the modern amenities. The host was more than gracious. 100% recommend.”

”This is an older property, that shows its age. I stayed in a room that was part of the main tower building; the room was a nice size and clean. I really appreciated the fridge and microwave + dishes provided. The front receptionist was lovely and kind, I felt so lucky to be able to check in early which afforded me more time to explore. The motel is about a 10 minute bus from Hobart cbd but there are so many bus stops nearby and with the public transit being free it was dead east to get to town....

”Very friendly and helpful manager. Clean rooms and value for money”

”3 persons. No lock in the toilet door. Lamp over the mirror in the back bedroom broken. View to thr carbage containers. Otherwise ok. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen.”

”Good shower and clean”

”Absolute scam – avoid Nightcap at Carlyle Hotel. Expedia must delist it. Booked through Expedia and paid several hundred dollars. Then came pre-check-in links that tried to charge me the full room rate again. Completely senseless. At check-in they demanded a $100 card deposit. Never properly disclosed. Normal hotels swipe for a $1 authorisation. Here they wanted a full hundred after I’d already paid. When I objected to this unreasonable demand the manager refused service and denied me the room....

”Lovely food left for our arrival and thoughtfulness in leaving the air conditioning on so it was warm for us. Thank you”

”Hurst Cottage was exactly what we were looking for. We were keen to be close to the North Hobart / Elizabeth St restaurant and entertainment strip. The house was really inviting, everything we needed in the kitchen, beds super comfortable, heating and cooling as needed. Plenty of parking out the front at all times. We were 100% happy with our stay.”

”Comfortable and spacious house with great beds and plenty of room for our group of seven. The electric frying pan was very handy. The place covers the basics, but a few extra supplies (paper towel, rubbish bags, cleaning items) and larger cookware would make it more practical for bigger groups. It would also be helpful to note in the listing that there’s no BBQ. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay”

”House is very classic and cut with brick and arches. Host was easy to communicate with. Nothine overly exciting or bsd to say. Jusy a easu quick stop on a late arrival to Tasmania.”

”The cottage is spectacular ”
