”We were not warned before our arrival that there was scaffolding on the outside of the building. We almost didn’t go in because the outside looks like such disarray. We were pleasantly surprised when we stepped inside and saw such a lovely quaint renovated house. The inside was very nice. The service was great and the breakfast the following morning was terrific. I will definitely stay here again.”

”For the two of us, the security of it was great. Yes each floor had cameras on it but being under surveillance from the owner was not an issue for us. The room was spacious and was very very quiet at night. I was suspect at first upon walking in but will for sure book another stay when in the area. The owner of the property was great and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. ”

”As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. It was a pleasant step back in time with it's antique atmosphere and original structure. It was my 48th wedding anniversary and staying at a family home made it even more...
