”The mouth of the Smith River is a magical place and the XVR Resort provided a first class way to experience it. I heartily recommend this place to anyone, especially those who may want to ‘unplug’, disconnect and enjoy an idyllic few days with nature. We’ll definitely be back!”

”Nice for a "motel" like property, and comfortable enough. But there is not staff here (except housekeeping in the mourning), so if there is any problem it's not super easy to get help. I texted and never heard back. Clean all around and interiors were comfortable. The bed had big divots on each side, giving me the impression it was pretty old. Big plus - free ice! I'll probably try another place next time.”

”The location was great. I think a little too expensive for $300 something a night. There is no A/C in the rooms, which is fine because if the screen is open it’s perfect, but the screens do not lock and we were downstairs right next to the bike path, so we were not going to leave it wide open. Free coffee in the morning and the fire pits were nice, but right next to some rooms in a weird location. All in all, great place and we would probably visit again in a few years, but I believe the price...

”The room was clean and nice, but there was no AC or heater. There was a wheel to change the temp but no vent or anything that made a noticeable change to the temp in the room. The walls and floors were also very thin, we were on the bottom floor and could hear every footstep or talking from the room above. Sucked especially at 8am when people are walking around constantly and woke us up. The WiFi was also very spotty, at times it worked perfect but then would randomly disconnect and couldn’t...
