Red Roof Inn – Pohjois-Kentucky, Kentucky

”This place is so disgustingly unclean and unkept. Its actually surprising they are in Business. Not only was the room so disgusting that is was unable to be slept in but when the staff was confronted about the state of the room, they were rude and denied it. Of course, we tried to get our money back and stay somewhere else but according to policy we would not recieve a refund or even a "I'm sorry". Still, had to lose that noney and go get a different hotel. Sketchy people all over the parking...

”From the moment we arrived, it was clear this property is severely outdated and poorly maintained. The exterior alone raised concerns, with several individuals lingering around who appeared to be long-term occupants. Calling this place a “hotel” feels generous. Walking into the lobby, we were hit with a strong odor—a mix of stale smoke and something reminiscent of a nursing home. It was overwhelming and set the tone for what was to come. Despite the obvious red flags, we proceeded to check in....

”There was some confusion with my reservation when I arrived but they ended up upgrading me to a suite. The room was kind of worn but overall it was "cleanish". The sink had a bunch of cracks, the shower had black mildew on the edges, and the sofa was super worn leather. I was going to put the comforter from the extra bed over the couch but I found a yellow stain on the fitted sheet and decided to just leave the extra bed be. The bed I slept on was super squeaky and let a indent on the mattress...

”In town for a soccer tournament and the room was perfect for our needs. It was nicely updated, clean and a great price. Only thing missing that we needed was a hair dryer-but luckily Walmart was close! Will definitely stay again when in town for future tournaments!”
