”Hotel is situated in a very beautiful park about 2 kilometers from the center of Venlo. Hotelroom lightning could be better and there is no AC.
The service in Hotel restaurant was friendly but very slow. We had to wait our food about one hour. The restaurant is also overpriced.”

The restaurant offers high class modern Chinese cuisine - all the dishes were tasty. The only minus is that I had planned to lunch with my Dutch friend there, but on Tuesdays the restaurant closes after breakfast and does not open again until the next day. It would have been nice if the reception staff had informed me when I checked in. When I asked, they said it's another society working in the hotel premices, but is this an excuse ? Luckily the city center...
”Hotellin alue oli uskomattoman rauhallinen ja romanttinen vallihautoineen ja luontopolkuineen. Hotelli ulkopäin todella upea keskiaikainen linna. Myös aulatilat ja muut viimeisen päälle, mutta huoneet remontin tarpeessa (kulahtanut kokolattiamatto, irrallisia lattialistoja). Aamiainen ei valitettavasti kuulunut hintaan.”

”This hotel was opened just a short while ago: in a brand new place everything is of course exactly as one would want it to be. One remark though: it is practically in the middle of nowhere, which is good to know if you are planning a night out in the town. Taxis will take you anywhere but at least during festival time it may take quite a while before getting one. ”
”Nicely remodeled orphanage in a building dating back to 1660. Very small room, basically twice the size of a queen sized bed. Far half is bed, nearby side has a corner shower and a sink. Plenty of stuff to do in town no need to use room for anything but rest. Restrooms are shared on the floor and accessible via key fob.
There’s a nice lounge area with limited hours and service and an outside patio. This place is near everything in downtown Venlo and very walkable. Vehicle parking is a few block...

Das Frühstück ist wirklich sehr sehr mager aber reicht für den Tag.
Alles ist sauber und das Personal seht freundlich.
Es ist alles zu Fus erreichbar.
Allerdings wer seine Ruhe haben möchte ist in dem Hotel falsch. Der Marktplatz vorm Hotel ist bis nachts um 1 sehr sehr laut.
Und jeden Tag zwischen 07-08 Uhr kommt das Müllauto, was man lautstark hört.
Alles in allem ein traumhaftes Hotel, allerdings für Erholungsurlaub ungeeignet.”
