”All was great other than the brown water”

”Terrific little historic hotel with a lot of vintage charm. Right downtown -- walking distance to the river, nearby casinos, and (in our case) the Mudbug Madness Festival. The staff was particularly warm and inviting -- offering terrific local advise and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This place should be on your radar screen when visiting Shreveport!”

”The pool was unusable for us because of the heat both of the air and the water. And more importantly the chemicals were off. The water was cloudy and it smelled strongly of chlorine. ”

”Parking was non existent. Advised to park next to the storage containers. No they’re not responsible for damage to your car. Their problem is your problem. Ridiculous. The hot water handle in the bathroom sink wasn’t attached. Front desk sent maintenance people to examine it. Said the valve needed to be replaced another day. No hot water in the sink for the day. So nothing in the bathroom was cleaned with hot water, and cleaning person didn’t report it. Again, their problem is my problem”

”Good place if you’re just looking to stop, sleep and leave. ”

”Overall it was good, but I do recommend some new pillows. The pillows are very flat, was uncomfortable sleep. ”

”Will not stay there again! The room had a bed no type of easy chair, and the TV would only get 4 to 5 stations. Complained to the lady at the front desk and was told that the lobby TV was on the same sat. system and was working great. Not again!!”
