Darrell was very welcoming and kind and even called earlier in the day to let me know his wife was sick and wouldn't be able to cook breakfast (as she would need to stay away from spreading germs while she healed) and asked if I wanted to cancel. I thought that was very thoughtful to give me the option to cancel and provided a breakfast gift card, but I felt safe to still stay. I didn't meet lovely Marla...

”Great little hotel with everything you need. The room we have was huge, since it’s a pet friendly hotel it would be great for dogs and there are also adjoining rooms available. The restaurant is good, the staff is great, though the small store they have is a bit understocked at times. But would recommend it for a brief airport stay using their shuttle, otherwise you will definitely need a car since it”s a good driving distance from the airport and nothing else is in the area.”

If you enjoy spending time with your partner, this is the perfect get away. From the quaint little kitchen, beautiful bathroom, coziness of the fireplace to endless nights of stargazing through the huge dome window, from the comfort of the king size bed, this place was everything and more than we had expected!”

”The staff here are incredible. A bit shout out to Ashley, manager of housekeeping for her kindness and flexibility as I needed to have a late check out. No questions asked and a big “no problem”, now that’s customer service. The free breakfast was great and again the servers were friendly and kind. Front desk staff were accommodating and friendly also. A great place to stay if you visit Truro. ”
