”Rooms were clean. Pool side and restaurant were great. Ran out of towels though. High demand as hotel was very booked, but just brought down our room towels. Restaurant was good but slow service and it wasn’t that busy when we dined. Shuttle are small and in high demand and we’re not quite on time so a bit of stress in the crowd outside at 5am. Most staff was friendly except the front desk when I asked about the late shuttle.”

The food is great including many homemade products. the staff is welcoming, helpful and friendly. They have live music and dancing and the hotel is within walking distance to the beach! it has become my new favorite place in the world!”

”We had a great stay! We found it quiet and peaceful, and a short walk to the beach and main strip. We loved the daily breakfasts and the pool was a great amenity. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful! The hotel helped us arrange transport to and from the airport, and we booked an excursion as well, which was awesome! Our room was very clean! ”

”Beautiful landscaped grounds, made if feel like you were in a jungle resort. All kinds of creatures with howler monkeys in trees just off out balcony the highlight. Great breakfast and the staff were amazing. Great pool as well. 1 block from the beautiful beach with great walking along the ocean to Playa del Coco.”

”Olimme erittäin tyytyväisiä hotellin sijainnista, palvelusta ja rennosta tunnelmasta. Henkilökunta oli todella miellyttävä ja auttavainen. Kun huonevaraustamme ei heti löytynyt koneelta, saimme tilalle "anteeksi pyyntönä" paljon isomman ja paremmin varustellun huoneen lomamme ajaksi. Pitkin päivää hotellin asiakkaille oli tarjolla tuoretta kahvia ilmaiseksi ja hotellissa oli myös iso kauppa 24/7 auki. Ravintolan ruuan hinta/laatu suhde oli ihan ok. Jos yöelämä häiritsee unta, ei kannata ottaa...

”The breakfast was yummy both days that we were there, and the service at the restaurants was top-notch! However, we were disappointed not to have a swimming pool available to use as guests at Santarena Hotel. The rooftop infinity pool was way too small for the number of rooms available. ”

”This is a beautiful small boutique style hotel. Everything is on the ground level, which is nice not to have to use an elevator every time you come and go. The pool has a beach style entrance and a deeper area for lap swimming. Its quite and lots of loungers in the shade. The amazing staff is the same few people, so I really got to know/trust them. The restaurant has fresh food and cold drinks! Its the perfect location, 15min drive to a lot of areas and beaches. The room was clean but could use...

”Excellent location just a few blocks from the beach. Several restaurants very good restaurants close by and shops. Simple but clean and comfortable room with balcony sitting space. Very nice owners and staff who gave us good info about the area. ”

”The pool at Borinquen is surrounded by trees and is set kind of in a valley and in the afternoons between 3-5 you could start to see the branches moving on the trees and all of a sudden, you would start to see monkeys swinging from branch to branch. Mama monkeys carrying their baby monkeys, monkeys "fighting", eating, just going about their day. It was absolutely amazing. That was when the spider monkeys came out. If the howler monkeys were there you would hear them coming up the valley around...
