”This house was really special and lovely, the location hard to beat. You could easily get to grocery stores and local places we've loved for years, or trot down to Burlington or Waterbury. The water was rare as it's a silt bottom (rather than rocks), and very shallow. Great for little kids, or if you want to walk far out and watch the sunset. The kayaks were wonderful to use to go along the coast on calm mornings. So grateful we were able to make more memories here!”

”Really enjoyed the stay here, very close to Burlington and a great lake escape. The beach is much bigger and nicer than expected, and use of paddleboards and kayak made for a really fun place to stay. Plenty of space, clean, and tons of outdoor areas to relax in. Recommend! ”

”Perfect retreat! Kayaked the lake and all the rivers that flow from it. Wildlife was amazing. Sat for hours on the porch overlooking the water. Place had everything I needed. So charming! ”

”Loved this little beach cottage. Fully stocked with everything you could need. Great location. We were there for UVM graduation and it was 15 min away from just about everywhere we wanted to be! Beds were really comfy. Only thing is the bathroom and shower are tiny - so if you are a larger human, this might be an issue. Otherwise loved it.”

”Our host Peter was very friendly and I got to meet his friendly dog, Lenny. The little red cabin was very cozy. The accomodations provided everything we needed. If we are ever up near Stowe again, we would certainly stay again. ”

”Enjoyed are stay at the camp. The outside flowers, bird feeders and deck were peaceful. Had fun watching the birds feed and the chipmunks and squirrels trying to get to the feeders.Our property manager/owner was very good at communicating with us.The only detriment was the beach. Due to the spring thaw and flooding there was numerous amount of driftwood in the sand near shore; which made it difficult for wading. I was told by a couple of locals this was due to the rivers that flow into the lake....

”This is a really nice lakeside cottege. My family had an excellent stay. The location is really great but I would note that Lakeshore Drive can get quite busy - backing out of the driveway required patience at times. Great views of the lake. Mallets Bay is HEAVILY populated with moorings and marinas so this is not a secluded corner of the lake in summertime, it is busy and bustling. The place is well furnished and well equiped. The easy drive to Burlington was also a plus. Overall this is...

”This lakeside cottage was perfect for a lakeside retreat in North Hero. The rooms were clean and tidy and the common area was very cozy and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and there was even a Keurig and K cups. Also, you couldn’t be closer to the lake. Wonderful spot! ”
