”For a change the online pictures do not do a property justice. This fantastic and newly renovated lodge is set in acres of spectacular and interesting grounds. Everything has been done to a very high standard, including the service, rooms and on-site dining. Set 10 or so Kms from Rotarua it avoids the "smells". Our room was one of the smaller ones and lacked a good view, but nevertheless was well appointed and very comfortable (heated floors in the bathroom - wow!!) We enjoyed our stay...

”Staff were so nice- especially Anna! All staff were so accommodating and helped us with whatever we needed. Beautiful place to stay at. Personally wouldn’t recommend over 3 or 4 nights in colder weather as it does get a little hard to figure out plans. ”

”Beautiful property surrounded by trails to hike in the forest. Really unique lodge we were very glad we stayed. Plus was the spa and lovely outdoor hot tubs. While the meals were okay but not great, we enjoyed the social hour and meeting the other guests. Lodge rooms were smaller than expected. Beware that it is a long windy drive in and out of the hotel. ”

”Mukava huoneistohotelli sopivalla sijainnilla. Aucklandin keskusta kävelyetäisyydellä, jos ei ylämäki haittaa tahtia. Samoin lentokenttäbussilla pääsee lähes hotellin viereen. Wifi ei maailman paras eikä rajaton muuta kuin lisämaksusta, se hieman harmitti.”
