”The room, internet and reception staff were so great, oppose to the staff serving breakfast were terrible. They are unfriendly and unpleasant”

”Good place to stay. Big hotel. Staff always sits in the lobby as is expected for a hotel of this size. They got irons, ironing boards, steemers, tall mirrors and hairdryers in all rooms.”

”Someone had spilled burnt wood/charcoal (from what?) just outside my rooms door and the major pieces were mostly picked up but not vacuumed during my stay. My other concern was that I could not figure out how to get consistently warm water to take a shower. I don't think the listing prepared me for such a large facility I was thinking it would be more quaint so indications to the vast size would have help me make an informed decision. ( I am not a resort skier )”

”The place needs a complete renovation. The room, despite needing updated renovations was as clean as it could be. There is no air conditioning. I’m from TX and discovered that not many structures in CO have air conditioning, so I can’t hold that against them. It’s close to Grand Lake downtown just a few miles down the road. Management is not onsite and reticent to answer texts.”

”Amazing stay, Owner was very helpful and gracious. Was clean and updated! I recommend the evening 4 course meal as well as breakfast. Take the St Marys glacier trail....just a short 20 min walk from the lodge to the trailhead. Incdedible view of the glacier and apline lake.”

”The rooms were great! The gym was also awesome. The hot tubs weren’t working which was a little bit of a bummer, but not a huge deal. The restaurant/bar also seemed to have weird hours, but there were plenty of other options in town. Overall my family loved it!”

”Wonderful place to stay in Winter Park! A small locally owned hotel. Very reasonable prices. The staff was excellent! The rooms are a very good size and very clean. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast! Not a hot breakfast, but had really good muffins and pastries. Not your typical hotel pastry.”

”Rooms were clean and had a unique design then regular hotels. It’s an older but beautiful upgraded Mansion like place. Easy parking close to your room. Nice location on a hillside.”

”We really loved our stay! It is a beautiful spot and the home is well built in the high winds. We had a few small issues we noticed and the hosts were quick to take care of them while we were there. We did not quite realize the altitude was as high as it was, (we were coming from 1,000 feet) but the view and beauty made it worth it. The sauna, hot tub and wood stove were all wonderful ways to stay warm in the chilly winter. ”
