Retreat into the scenic mountains and stay in this beautifully designed modern home filled with natural light. Our home has a large fully finished and fenced-in backyard with a large deck, BBQ grill (available seasonally), hot tub and a seating area. Just minutes away from Lake Jenkinson, Sly Park, hiking trails, Apple Hill, and local wineries, and just 45 minutes away from South Lake Tahoe!

A glimpse into your future stay:
Easily access this stylish home through a keyless entry smart keypad. You'll enter to an open floor plan living room and dining room with stunning wooden high ceilings and skylights that bring in loads of natural light. The living room has a 55-inch Smart TV with apps for Netflix, Hulu, Disney +, Apple TV+, HBO Max, and more. Vacation in comfort with high-speed wi-fi and centralized A/C and heating.

The full kitchen features a waterfall-style cultured marble peninsula, and all your kitchen essentials including pots and pans, utensils, blender, electric water kettle, coffee maker, coffee, tea, and stainless new steel appliances. Near the kitchen is a laundry room with a new washer and dryer that you're welcome to use.

3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms: The first bedroom has 2 twin beds, the second bedroom has 1 queen bed with its own full bathroom, and the master bedroom has a California king bed, another 55-inch Smart TV along with a suite that includes a large futon and games. The large master bathroom has a double vanity, a relaxing free-standing bathtub, and a shower.

The fully finished backyard has beautiful trees, a large deck, and is completely fenced in. Enjoy a comfortable seating area and a dining table with benches.

You'll have access to 2 large garages with one being large enough for a boat or RV. Plenty of parking is available on the large driveway as well.

In regards to location, the home is right off the freeway, in a safe neighborhood, and does not require driving on steep hills or dirt roads.

We pride ourselves in keeping the home clean and following Vrbo’s enhanced cleaning protocol.

Clean home, most needed items already in home, fast and easy communication with host, lots to do in surrounding area and lots of trails and cute downtown/old town exploring opportunities, and would recommend to friends and family to stay. Items to consider bringing for future stay: extra towels for spa use, step stool for high cupboards or kiddos to reach sinks, portable mop or vacuum since surrounding area is hiking trails.

I spent the weekend here solo and loved how big the space is a nicely decorated. The home is close to the supermarket and only an hour to Tahoe Peak. There are also many trails within 10-15mins. It was very quiet and I especially love it feels like a home. This place gives you enough firewood for your stay, has nice bathrooms and a hot tub. It also has a laundry which is nice so you get home with a clean bathroom. The host is very responsive as well. Will definitely come back!

This is an amazing place. It was actually BETTER than the pictures, which is a rarity. It feels very luxurious for Pollock Pines and has a good amount of room for large families. Had everything we needed and more, Kitchen was well equipped too(we cook) so that was a great bonus. Highly recommend for any season. The limited interactions I had with Host were great and super fast in their response. Look forward to booking again.

Great friends getaway spot close to Apple Hill. Plenty of room for everyone and super clean. The only thing to change is adding screen doors on the sliders in the dining area and the master bedroom, and more comfortable and additional living room seating. Overall a nice and roomy place that is reasonably priced and centrally located.

The property was great and had everything we needed. It is conveniently located to local establishments and Safeway. The outdoor areas were large with lots of space to enjoy. Had some trouble with the Jacuzzi heater so we did not end up using it, was only warm not hot.Everything was clean. The bathrooms & showers were very nice and spacious.The beds could be softer. They were hard for our liking. Maybe add a mattress topper for comfort.Kitchen has nice appliances and room for several people.Living room was great for visiting, smart tvs were appreciated but the couches could be more comfortable.

The rental was beautiful!!! Property surrounded by redwoods, pine trees.. Very convenient location.. Did have difficulty getting in..Took 15 minutes or more, before we could get in. Maybe it was due to the later.. We arrived at 10:00 p.m.

The house was exactly as shown in the listing—clean, spacious, and located in a quiet neighborhood. Overall, the stay was great, but I would’ve appreciated a few more internal accommodations. For example, the body wash in almost every shower was very low, and one was nearly empty. There were no refills available anywhere in the home. In past rental stays, there have typically been ample backups for situations like this. Additionally, I would’ve liked to see laundry detergent provided since there was a washer and dryer available. As this was an out-of-town stay, having to purchase detergent and additional body wash—items I wouldn’t be flying home with—was a minor inconvenience. That said, this is very detailed feedback, and everything else about the property was truly above and beyond.

Beautiful home

When I walked into this home, I quickly thought how beautiful it was! The home was clean and ready to use. The beds were comfortable and all rooms were spacious. We did not get to use the hot tub but it seem to fit about 6 people. Communication between the owner and I was great- he was very accommodating and nice. The garage space was great and we got to park our cars inside which was convenient for getting things to the kitchen. Location felt very safe and it’s close to a grocery store and some small restaurants. The only thing that I think would add to this beautiful home is fire pit outside.by the seating area. Other than that, I hope to stay here in the future!

Family vacation

The house is beautiful and spacious! We met the grounds keeper and he was wonderful as well. It was hot on the day we arrived and he said go right in and cool off the kids. The house keeper came on our second day and wheeled out the trash and she was nice. We had asked if we should take the trash to the curb as well and she said "no she will do it when we leave" all communications with the host was fast and pleasant. Thank you Dion for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Gorgeous retreat in the woods

My friends and I only needed a place to spend the night after a wedding, and once we got to the house, I instantly regretted that we weren’t going to be staying longer. Even though we had just spent 7-8 hours drinking, eating, and dancing, we just couldn’t help but open up the complimentary bottle of wine and sit out in the back yard, enjoying the night air. You couldn’t even tell that there were any neighboring houses. I would definitely recommend this house and would happily stay there again.

We loved our stay here on a weekend trip to local wineries! Modern and stylishly furnished with comfortable beds, a relaxing hot tub, and close to a grocery store. Dion was responsive when we had a quick question. Would recommend!
