”We were in an upstairs apartment which we had to access from a very quirky walk up some steps and through a mind your head whole in a wall. It gave to the old world feel of the place. Staff were amazing and the menu had everything my wife loved. Will definitely go again when visiting my sister. ”

”Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant, all the staff were friendly, chatty and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable and the cooked breakfast very filling. ”

The uneven floors were beautful and the effort made to keep it looking old is to be applauded. The doors were awesome. We find somewhere like this every year around this time for our birthdays and anniversary. Always somewhere with history and central to exploring. First time in 100s we'll be coming back.The whole bodmin area is astounding and the Jamaica is the perfect base...

So we had a great stay in their cosy ‘Little Willow’ cottage, a great retreat, with all the amenities/comforts you could need, along with some lovely, thoughtful extras provided! ”Staff were friendly, room is very outdated and had a strange smell. Beds were average, shower was good. Breakfast in the morning wasn’t fantastic, we paid £120 for one night stay with breakfast but not sure it’s quite worth that to be honest. Wouldn’t stay here again.”

”This was our second visit. That should tell you something. We again liked the inn with good variety of of breakfast options, room was spacious, plenty of free parking. It was convenient for the attractions we wanted to visit. Dinner, optional extra, is available and very good quality. We would like to visit again. ”

”Better than expected. Beautiful building, fabulous room - in great condition, very comfy and clean. Tea and coffee making that included fresh milk in the fridge. Spa also brilliant as well as a great breakfast. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Didn't stay with kids, but would be perfect for families with all the extra ameneties.”

”Went to stay there with the family including a baby and a toddler It was the perfect spot ! The house was spotless and really spatious ! Very clean the beds were spacious and everything was extremely comfy . There was even a shared playroom . When we came we had a few questions and Tasha the house manager was answering within seconds by phone . It I had one comment is that it gets cold as such we had to increase the heating substantially but nothing dramatic”

”An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months”
