”Extremely clean and very well appointed(beach gear, a few guide books, dining utensils, nice linens, luggage rack), we did not want for anything! Location is perfect: sunrises, islands, rainbows, just steps from the beach but also secluded by dunes and shrubbery. Not a 'knock' at all, just sharing for others: the vacation rental is on the small side but it worked great for us (2 former backpackers). We will stay here again the next time we visit Oahu.”

”My husband and I stayed there for four nights and we had the most wonderful time there. Every morning was a different type of fresh cut fruit, mostly grown in the property and home bake goods. It was delicious! The room was small but comfortable and was exactly what we were looking for. The property and location was great too. It was a 10 minutes walk to rainbow falls and 5 minutes drive to downtown Hilo. ”

Minor investments would go a long way. All bedding is old, carpet in unit which traps sand, mini refrigerator but has freezer. ”Was a first time in Maui and in this hotel. Got an upgrade to a studio with a kitchen and a balcony. The room was awesome and super clean and comfortable! All the neccessary kitchen supplies to make breakfast, lunch ot whatever. Microwave, stove, oven, large fridge and freezer. The bed was excellent to sleep in. You can rent dvd's and playstation games at the lobby with no charge, nice thing to do in the evening. Also free of charge tennis outside. The hotel pool area is beautiful with one big...

”A very underwhelming experience. A property whose glory days are behind it. We got a message a few days in advance that the air conditioning will be out of order until June. Not a big deal, but it left a sour taste that the attendant in check-in told us "I just heard that the air conditioniong in your room is out of order". Later we found out that also the laundry room and the gym were out of order as they had experienced a fire of the electricity system. Lack of transperency is...
