”Beware where it says a 3 minute walk to the Terminal from the Motel. You can see the hotel from the Terminal but it’s on top of a steep hill. If you’re carrying cases it’s almost impossible unless you’re a young athlete. So be prepared for a $25 taxi bill to go less than a half mile and another $25 to get back to the terminal the next morning.”

”Comfortable pillows and robes in the room. The flooring looks nice but it gets very slippery when the air con is turned off. It's also very cold when the air con is on so a pair of slippers would be nice. There was no conditioner in the room but it was brought when I requested it. Only two instant coffee bags were brought and that was not really enough so I bought my own instant coffee. ”We had a two-storey room with a sea view and it was really nice. The view was amazing over a black beach facing the island of Moorea. The service in the hotel was good. The restaurant was full on Friday and you have to take a taxi to get to Papeete so if you want to eat in the hotel make sure to make a table reservation in advance. The breakfast buffet was not much but as it was not included in our stay we preferred a la carte breakfast which was good and affordable. ”

”This hotel is very close to the port and the staff were very helpful Which is important when a large amount of passengers are checking out to get to the ship while others are checking in and having to use a very tight space for all the luggage at the front desk. But the Hotel Kon Tiki has some of the lowest rates to get a great bed in a clean facility in Papeete. But also don't expect a King's suite for a low price. Just a nice cool simple space and a good sleep in a good location. So it...

”Very charming little oasis in Lihue. Room was simple, clean and perfect with local touches. Bed was SO comfortable I slept 10 hours! They have nice coffee and lemon water in the lobby area that we enjoyed each day. Very centrally located.”

”Good location to drive around windward side of Oahu. Kualoa ranch very close by and restaurants in Kilua. Room was very clean.”

”It was ok the restaurant's food was not good. We ate there once and never again. Were told they would include breakfast and then told we had to pay. The rooms were not serviced well and some days not done at all. The pool was also very dirty.”

”We stayed a bit over a week in a room with garden view (and two night in overwater bungalow via ebookers). Bed was good in the room with a garden view but a lot worse in the overwater bungalow, there were also many pillows, and also there were shampoo, body lotion, conditioner, three different soaps, slipper, utility kit and rain ponchos! Everything was clean and comfortable. Wonderful place and outstanding views, also hooray for taking care of the coral. Only minus was the REALLY pricey...
