”We enjoy our trip. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The only issue we encounter is the hot water. Sometimes it doesn’t work when we shower at night. So far, everything is okay.”

”We likes this hotel very much. If you like to see something else than the chain hotels,which look exactly the same wherever in the world you are then choose this one. We had a king room with harbour view. It was marvellous. Good reef-top bar, dinner at the surf house was superb. Service was great. What we did not like was the breakfast. ”We are already planning our return. The property and staff are excellent. Love that they offer beach towels and all sorts of beach stuff to borrow. The location was centrally located and made it super easy to get to just about any destination on the island.”

”This is an older hotel, no a/c or elevator, still uses keys, looks beat down from the hallway. Nice clean pool and direct access to some lava rock tide pools. TBH the view of the bay and the sound of the waves made it worth it- but I’d sleep in my car for that sound! Microwave and fridge came in handy. A low cost option for Hilo.”
