”It was a very nice place to stay for our one night in Hana. This was our 2nd time on Maui and decided to make Hana a two day excursion. We did the back road to Hana again and beat all the traffic. Left our loud and crowded Kannapali hotel at 6AM and found ourselves soon driving in quiet Up Country and then onto volcanic desert like landscape when at times not even seeing another car for 30mins. ”I spent 10 nights here in November. This is a very clean cottage, very well maintained. The owner/host is awesome and was in the area taking care of his other cottages so I spoke with him a couple times. He even stopped by and dropped off a new air fryer for me one day. Worked out great for fish and crabcakes from Pahoa. What’s incredible about this place is the location.
