”The staff were sweet and the restaurant was great. However there is a general lack of maintenance . Wasn’t just us, on speaking to other guests they all had issues with their rooms. We had three rooms 1) First room had a leak in the roof- occasionally. Probably when upstairs was showering 2) Second room -Electricity kept tripping and needed to be continually requested to switch back on 3) third room had an underground leak which FLOODED the entire room. ”This was a beautiful location. Hard to get to... 3 hours drive from Maputo and you basically have to hire a driver. The staff was warm and lovely and always wanting to help make the vacation ideal. I was 1 of 6 guests for a couple of nights - and it was incredibly peaceful. be prepared for a serious dose of relaxing as it's 45 min to other more happening beach areas.
