”The room was superb, the the milieu beautiful and the staff nice. Having the palace and the small garden close-by makes the place very lovely. The breakfast which you could also enjoy on a terrace was nice and good quality. The room was spacious and the view from there was very beautiful, a plus for English speaking tv channels (not self-evident always...) Downsides would be the location, as you'd probably need a car to move anywhere from there. However, with lots of beaches in the area, car...

”Not sure why this hotel is only 1 star - it was better than some 3 star hotels. Mario on reception is very helpful and friendly. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay including parking and a pool. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Wifi good, shower pressure good. Breakfast ok but lots of homemade cakes which were yummy. Walk into Tavira starts on busy main road with no footpath, but its fine if you are careful. Would recommend this hotel.”
