Huvilat – Poole Keynes

”Spent one night at the hotel. It is located in a cute small town. There is a good car park and the hotelarea is beautiful. The room was OK size, but could use an update. The pub was nice and the breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful :)”

”Staff both on reception and in the dining room were helpful, although at dinner we had to wait a long time before the food arrived. The main problem was that although the hotel wasn’t fully booked we were given a room (room 7) right on the very noisy road, over the bar and the outdoor festoon lights were on all night which filtered into the room. Had we stayed a second night we would have asked to be moved!”

”The hotel is clean and convenient location as we were going to Cotswold. Some areas like the bathroom could do with some updating. Plenty of parking space which you can pay for £7.50 at the reception. On the plus side, the leisure facilities—including the pool, sauna, and steam room—were great! Just an advice if you're planning a night swim: the website says the pool is open until 9:00 PM on weekends with last entry at 8:15 PM, but they actually closed early at 8:45 PM so staff could clean it...

”The hotel was beautiful and historical, the service was super friendly and the food was great! The spacious room was decorated in very nice and modern style, but... The carpet was dusty (or at least not cleaned/vacuum cleaned) since the previous customer, nor was it cleaned between our 2 nights stay. What was much worse; in the room there was a stark moldy smell that did not go off even as we kept the windows from both sides of the room open for 2 full days & nights. Both me and my husband were...

”We enjoyed our stay and the hotel was exceptional”

”Towels and sheets were missing. The receptionist's pesponse was: Ask housekeeping????”

”We loved staying at De Vere in Cotswolds, it was very family friendly. The room was spacious and surroundings were beautiful and calm. I specifically liked the healthy choice of breakfast. For use of swimming pool, you have to pay £10/ per person and book a lot for 60mins, but it was worth it, not too busy and there were children but not chaotic at all. We definitely would like to come back!”

”Room was ok, outdated but clean otherwise. The bathroom floor tiles and caulking were stained and felt dirty. Shower pressure was amazing, they had dove shampoo, conditioner and soap which was a nice surprise. Breakfast had warm dishes (eggs, bacon, hash brown, beans), coffee, juices, cereals and muffins, croissants and pancakes. I wouldn't stay here longer since the amenities were quite poor but for one night stay (passing through Swindon) this was totally fine and staff that we encountered...

”Great value for money, clean facilities and friendly staff. Had a good nights sleep.”

”Room was airy and clean. Shower was dated and water wasn’t very hot. Upon arrival was a wedding but it was chaos in reception as they were all at the bar and surrounding areas and no one could hear themselves speak at check in. Same in the evening, if you weren’t part of the wedding party you had to keep clear as the venue was full of guests mainly vaping in the entrance! Breakfast choice was good. Not enough chairs or places to sit at the pool (due to a health condition I’m not able to use...

”The hotel is nice and clean, the location was perfect as I needed both buses and trains in the area. If I visit Swindon again, I will stay in this hotel. ”

”Nice and clean room, nice pub but I have already stayed there before and found it perfect for me; hence I chose it again”

”Very nice downstairs room, including a very cool ceiling and a cozy wonderful warm atmosphere. The room was smaller than we expected, including the toilet, where it was hard to maneuver between the toilet and the sink. However, we managed just fine and we thought it was very good value for the price. Breakfast was wonderful!”
