Mantra – Port Douglas Hinterlands, Queensland

”Mantra Portsea is nicely decorated apartment hotel within walking distance from the center. The service level is good otherwise, but the rooms are only cleaned once a week. We stayed for 4 days so this was sufficient. You can get clean towels if you like. The breakfast was good. However during my stay I washed some clothes and they were damaged because the clotheshorse in the balcony was rusted. The hotel agreed to compensate the clothes after the housekeeping was unable to remove the stains....

”Lovely Apartment. Clean and well equipped. Staff were lovely. I have stayed here before Some years ago and still meets a good standard. The pool with the spa is great. Lovely time there”

”The rooms do need a little tlc but were clean and the service from the staff was excellent. We had a couple of issues during our stay and they were very helpful in resolving them. Would happily stay there again.”

”A nice clean room with a comfortable bed. The tub was heaveanly after a long day of trekking around daintree and cape tribulation. Tv had a great selection of channels. Plus for having a toaster in the room in addition to the fridge and water heater. After hours service was fast and helpful, both check-in and check-out were a breeze. The only downside would be that there's no free wifi.”
