Lomamökit – Port Douglas Hinterlands

”A fantastic pool and hotel surroundings (junglelike). The staff was very helpful and useful. The room good enough and spaceous. ”

”Very unique resort property. Warm swimming pool. The outside BBQ needs swapped for grills as it's not realistic to expect people to clean the trays after use.”

”Great place to stay.”

”Great location for Great Barrier Reef activities, right beside the 4 mile beach. The rooms were clean and fully functional kitchen. Staff was welcoming. Free chairs , umbrella and towels was appreciated . Wished the front desk was staffed extended hours, with 8-5 we were not able to exchange towels , used beach towel instead since we left early and returned later than 5 pm. Highly recommended.”

”Normal resort if you are looking for that kind of accommodation. They arrange shuttle transportation to the nearby city centre with a price that is a day light robbery so better to come by own car.”

”We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The room had everything we needed, small kitchen, with fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. The bathroom was great, big walk in shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. There is a small swimming pool, which our son enjoyed. A covered outdoor kitchen with barbie for guests to use. There is also a laundry for guests. We didn't use these. The location is great, a 2 minute walk to the beach and to the shops and restaurants, couldn't be better. The...

”Bed could of been better and air con smelt a bit musty (but that's FNQ for you i guess) Property was really neat and tidy and made our stay really comfortable. Kids loved the pool. Would recommend for anyone looking to visit Port Douglas.”

”Mantra Portsea is nicely decorated apartment hotel within walking distance from the center. The service level is good otherwise, but the rooms are only cleaned once a week. We stayed for 4 days so this was sufficient. You can get clean towels if you like. The breakfast was good. However during my stay I washed some clothes and they were damaged because the clotheshorse in the balcony was rusted. The hotel agreed to compensate the clothes after the housekeeping was unable to remove the stains....

”Reception staff were very accommodating and helpful”

”The enclosed patio with plantation shutters and wide divan was perfect for relaxing. All other facilities were fine.”

”Excellent location. Right in the middle of the Main Street in town.”

”The property was equiped very comfortable and central to shops, restaurants, cafes ,Marina and the Beach. Angie was friendly and obliging in everything and made our stay very easy. Angie booked all our activities and airport transfers.”

”I love the layout of the property but please be aware due to proximity to the rainforest there are A LOT of bugs. My wife and I fought for our lives against a giant cockroach and the villa definitely had a lot of ants and spiders. The plunge hours being limited to the spa hours was a downside for us as well. My wife recommends the facial! The private pool was awesome. Truly if we didnt have the bug issues I would have given it 5 stars.”

”Great place, close to the center but quiet. Wonderful staff.”
