”We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The room had everything we needed, small kitchen, with fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. The bathroom was great, big walk in shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. There is a small swimming pool, which our son enjoyed. A covered outdoor kitchen with barbie for guests to use. There is also a laundry for guests. We didn't use these. The location is great, a 2 minute walk to the beach and to the shops and restaurants, couldn't be better. The...

”Our room was pretty rundown, the fridge was old and noisy. Cracked batch room sink and the kitchenette bench was cracked and fixed with tape that was old and black. Chips on the walls and the balcony was dusty and with spiderwebs. The hotel is also far from the village and all restaurants and shops. You have to drive to get everywhere so not convenient if you want to be close to everything.”

”We stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom Villa. It was perfect for our family of 7. Hotel staff was wonderful. Great looking property and fabulous pool area. Location is less than ten minutes from central Port Douglas. Access to the beach. We will definitely return for a longer stay!”

”Mantra Portsea is nicely decorated apartment hotel within walking distance from the center. The service level is good otherwise, but the rooms are only cleaned once a week. We stayed for 4 days so this was sufficient. You can get clean towels if you like. The breakfast was good. However during my stay I washed some clothes and they were damaged because the clotheshorse in the balcony was rusted. The hotel agreed to compensate the clothes after the housekeeping was unable to remove the stains....
