  • CALYPSO ei ole normaali loma-asunto. Jokainen kerros tarjoaa ylellisiä ominaisuuksia, jotka nostavat lomakokemuksesi uusiin korkeuksiin. Odotukset voivat olla korkeat, tämä Persianlahden edessä sijaitseva koti ei petä. Anna tämä aidattu kartano ja löydät hyväpalkkaiset asuintilat ja näkymät, jotka hämmästyttäv��t. Tässä poikkeuksellisessa keittiössä on CAMBRIA-mukautetut kvartsilaskurit, huippuluokan kodinkoneet ja huippuluokan täysin varusteltu lasitettu viinihuone. Layout was fantastic, lots of room for everyone. Kitchen was amazing. House was pretty clean, but we had one sandy bed when we arrived. Only negative, The internet was a real problem since a couple people in our group had to work. Very sketchy if any. So, you really need to look into that. But, location and layout couldn't be better. We will definitely be back.

Would have loved to take advantage of the tent and chair set up but we only had 2 days of good weather. The only thing I would suggest to the owners is to get new mattresses for the beds downstairs. They are a little worn out.

Reviewer Comments: Not only was this home beautiful, it was super functional and flowed perfectly for our family.The location on the beach was fantastic and very private.We enjoyed every minute of our stay, from gathering for meals and cocktails on the back deck, bonfires on the beach and preparing meals in that kitchen-WOW!There was plenty of room when we were all together but also the bedrooms were set up so that everyone had their privacy. Tons of parking and the lower level was great for washing up after the beach and storing your gear. We would definitely love to stay in Calaypso again.Thank you for sharing this beautiful home!!!

Wonderful!

Check in was a breeze. The bunk mattress pads were stained and sandy and the bathroom rugs looked unwashed but otherwise the property was pretty clean which is impressive because it's a large home and I'm sure takes a while to clean everything to get ready for the next guests. The views and proximity to the beach were amazing. We saw dolphins swimming everyday the entire week we were there. The kitchen was great to cook in and the elevator made it convenient for luggage and coolers. The ice maker was a game changer for packing the cooler each day. Overall, this house is amazing and we will be back in the future.

The beaches were beautiful and we basically had them to ourselves, as we hoped. We hope we can return next year and begin a family tradition of a week at Cape San Blas! Cover the cushions or bring them inside overnight so they will be dry and you can use them first thing in the morning. Really nice furniture on deck. Comfortable inside. A beautiful home with poor maintenance

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We reserved this home for all its beauty and beach front for our wedding guests. We loved all the spacious rooms and views with easy access to the beach. Plenty of parking and great security. We rented this house with permission from the rental company to have 2 small pets, one of which is a registered service dog: However, after a few hours, we were informed that we must leave or get rid of our dogs, as the owner had been watching on the security cameras and did not accept dogs. The rental company said the owner did not offer refunds: So, we had to board our pets. The house was dirty with dust, hairballs & toys. The beautiful master shower was covered in black mold and the hot water did not work most of the time. I asked for the owner to call and we had no response. We left early due to lack of hot water. Not happy!!!

We have stayed on the Cape for several years to vacation and this was among the best one yet! The house was simply amazing and spacious for 10 people. The views were breathtaking from all rooms in the house, especially the kitchen. Everything was well thought out when the owners built this house. The house is gated with a private beach access, so our kids were able to go back and forth to the beach with no worries at all.I would highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking to stay at the Cape.

Fall break at Calypso

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall stay was good even with first 2 days of rain. Found other people’s hairs on sheets and in shower & toilet, Plus fingerprints on mirror, so housekeeping could be improved. Didn’t appreciate bug spray appointment during our trip. Gear rental company dropped stuff at wrong address. And several minor maintenance issues like gate not working during rain storm. Sucks driving to Port St Joe for dinner most nights since most Cape restaurants were closed. But location was great, beach was private except for occasional vehicle, Skullys was excellent. And bike path was fun even though several vehicles parked on it. Cabana service was great. Beautiful house though.

Beautiful property / location - NOT CLEAN

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Calpyso is an almost-new property. The furniture, appliances, and decor are of a higher grade caliber than other beach properties. And, the location is amazing. However, those high-points are completely overshadowed by the filth you will find inside the property: dust, hairs, crumbs, dead bugs... etc. Every time we moved a chair or a pillow, it was the same thing. Sadly, could NOT recommend this property with its current (borderline unsanitary) conditions.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were so pleased with our stay at Calypso. The privacy on the beach and direct access was exactly what we were looking for. The home itself was beautifully done and had so many upgrades that made the stay beyond what we would hope for. The homeowner stocked the kitchen with more utensils and appliances than we have had at any other rental. The home had ample space for everyone to spread out or be together. We had to call the management company a couple of times for small issues but they were pleasant and responsive with each request. We would absolutely stay here again and are so thankful the homeowner is choosing to share their gorgeous home.
