Nauti lomasta tässä upeassa pyöreässä talossa, puiden täynnä
asetus, tyylikkäästi sisustettu, Indian Indian -kärjen kärjessä.
Indian Pass sijaitsee Apalachicola Bayn äärimmäisessä länsipäässä
missä se virtaa Meksikonlahteen. Tämä tuoreen ja

villieläimet ja hienot lintuasemat. Tutustu St. Vincent's Islandin yli
Kulkea. Tuo kajakit, kanootit, kalastus sauvat, kiikarit ja kamera. Erinomainen
kalastus ja sivuttain etenevät, kuoret ja pitkät kävelyretket koskemattomien mailien päällä
ranta. Yksityinen ja rauhallinen.

Cute little place perfect for our small travel group. The beach is only about 30 steps from the door (Literally a set of stairs over the dunes). The owners were quick to respond to any of our challenges on our trip. The lack of surf (St Vincent’s Island blocks the waves) was the only downer for our 2 12 year old travelers.Very quiet and restful vacation location.

We loved our stay at the Barnacle! The property was exactly as described, loved the wrap around windows and deck. The neighborhood was quiet and beaches not remotely crowded, perfect for a peaceful retreat. It was our first time at Indian Pass as we were looking for a dog friendly beach and house. Our hosts made it so easy to enjoy by providing nearly everything we needed. Janice was so nice and friendly and quick with communication! We would love to stay here again on our next trip Indian Pass!

My husband and I LOVED the Barnacle and Port St Joe. We stayed a week and brought our dog Loki. It was my husbands 50th birthday and we did not want to leave. We vacation primarily within the US and this place takes 2nd place only to where we stay in Hawaii. The Barnacle has a Woodsy, private feel and steps from the beach. Renting a golf cart for the week is a must for these beaches. We rode for miles and it was just beautiful. The beach was never crowded and the fishing and shelling were amazing. Ive never seen so many shells, and the biggest Clam shells ever. We loved that the beaches are dog friendly and being across from St Vinvent Island and at the end of the peninsula was awesome. You can kayak over to the island or shuttle over. Janis and Victor are so quick about responding and giving direction on things to do. We will be back! Thank you Janis and Victor!! TRULY!!

Relax and Enjoy

Property accurately described. Enjoyed the trees around the house and watching the birds, lizards and squirrels in the bird bath. I might suggest renting a golf cart if you have a lot of items to carry to the beach. It would be challenging to navigate the stairs from the house to the beach if you had chairs, cooler, fishing poles, umbrella etc. The convenience of loading into a cart and driving vs struggling was wonderful.

Barnacle

The house is very nice and has everything you need. The bed was so comfortable! I came with my sister, mom and aunt. I rented a golf cart to get to the beach which is a must as the stairs to the beach are horrible especially for older people. The beach was awesome with no people there and I found huge shells which made me really happy. I liked being on the end of the island as it was quite - we were there Easter week and it was perfect weather with a perfect place to stay. Janis was very helpful and very nice. I hope I can come back sometime in the future!

Stay at the Barnacle.

Great property just off the beach. Short walk to the water over the dune by steps behind the main house. There is no view of the beach from the Barnacle, but close proximity to all the action. Very comfortable & private with all the amenities!

Beautiful home. Hardwood floors are awesome. Beautiful path to the beach with nice incorporation of the trees. All the necessary amenities. Bald Eagle next door visited us every day. Secluded even being close to the road. Highly recommend.

Barnacle Bliss

Cozy home atmosphere. Very well equipped with everything we needed. Great kitchen. Comfortable beds too. Loved the wrap around deck. Lots of steps down to beach. Not ideal for our large dog. We used the boat landing for access to beach. Worked great. We had a wonderful time there. Got to explore a lot of the gulf coast. Restaurants were awesome. Our host were absolutely helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Weather dampened our vacation with rain the whole time. Bad storms, tornado warnings. Difficult to get to the beach because of multiple steps up and down. We rented the owners golf cart which was a life saver until the storm washed out the beach entrabce. entrance to the beach

This was our 3rd time to stay in the Barnacle. We absolutely loved it. The hosts are awesome and the golf cart made finding the perfect beach spot a breeze.

Great place and you can’t ask for better hosts!!

We so enjoyed our stay at the barnacle. As other reviews state, the aerial photo is a bit misleading as there are other properties now (including one directly beside the barnacle) and no view of the ocean from the home. They were performing construction on the home to the East, but luckily didn’t get too loud until our last day there. They’re very close to finishing so if you’re reading this after October of ‘24, I’m sure construction is done! The house is so cute and cozy and the deck that leads to the ocean is surrounded by native vegetation that gives a level of seclusion I appreciated. The deck does have a back seating area with an ocean view which is a nice compensation for not having an ocean view. You cannot ask for better hosts than Victor and Janis, super responsive and attentive. Overall, we would return.

Dunes Stay

The property was very much as described. While you can't see the Gulf, you are only a sand dune away. It was perfect for my wife dog and me. A great place to be on the beach. Please read the description carefully because there are a lot of stairs to navigate for the property and beach. That was not an issue for us. The owners were much nicer to speak with than the signage inside the house would reflect. It really is a hang at the beach place.

One of the best on Indian Pass Beach!

We just finished a week long stay on Indian Pass Beach in the Barnacle and it was an excellent trip. We’ve rented homes on Indian Pass for the last 7 years and of the different homes we’ve rented, the Barnacle is one of our absolute favorites. The home itself was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The property owners were wonderful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall, our stay at the Barnacle was a wonderful and calming experience and I will certainly be renting it again in the future.

Fun Trip

We had a nice week and our hosts were very communicative and responded to all concerns or questions quickly. Pros: Well stocked. Washer dryer. Hose very near to clean up sand. Comfortable and cool. Cons: Lots of steps to beach. No privacy with walls not going to the ceiling.

Hidden bungalow getaway

The house is beautiful and cozy. Completely surrounded by native tropical plants, you feel like Robinson Crusoe, lost on a deserted island. It's a short walk over the boardwalk to the beach and also to the boat ramp. Beautiful sunsets over the bay from the front porch! We can't wait to go back!
