The townhouse was clean, well stocked, newer furniture, comfortable bed, and exactly as pictured. Loved the early morning walks on the beach located across the street. Beautiful and uncrowded. The clock for the 2 time zones was a nice perk. Would stay here again.
The only issues we had were getting into the townhouse. The code did not work. We had received emails from Expedia & Vacasa, for codes & Vrbo for a facility charge. We tried for 1/2 hour before calling Vacasa. I sent a text then called on hold for over 1 hr & hung up. Husband also on his phone. Finally someone answered but they could not find the reservation...we gave the confirmation # & they found it. She stayed on the phone with us until we were able to enter a code that would open the key box. This was very nerve racking.
Then 4 hours later, I got a text reply from Vacasa apologizing for the inconvience & asking if I was still having issues with the entry code. I messaged, Forget it. It had been over 4 hours since I sent that text asking for help. I also was on hold for over 1 hr before I just hung up. They apologized for the delay in their response. They are experiencing higher than normal volume and are working on getting to all their guest as soon as possible. They do appreciate my patience and understanding. Well 4 hrs later is not acceptable.
The next afternoon I got another text asking if I still needed assistance with the access issue...lol NO.
Another apology for the situation & delay.
