The space
Leave the crowds behind and nestle into beautiful Port St. Joe Beach. Your vacation get-away home is a short 5 minute walk to the ocean. Sandpiper By the Sea is a spacious 2,400 square foot beachside retreat located in the wonderful, family oriented Windmark Village. Your family will make memories here year after year. Just 60 feet from your doorstep is the boardwalk, which crosses a natural preserve straight to a beautiful beach overlooking the ocean and across the sea you will notice the tip of peaceful Cape San Blas. Your family will enjoy sunning, surf, and a bountiful sea that is known nationwide for fishing and scalloping.

The walking trail located between the home and the ocean is perfect for morning walks, family bike rides, or a short golf cart ride to the village of Windmark. Take in the calm as you notice beautiful native birds and friendly sea otter enjoying their natural habitat In the late afternoon, grab a cold one, and head to your beach for deep relaxation and fantastic sunsets. A beautiful resort style pool is a 5 minute stroll down the end of the street and features restrooms, a sundeck, and wheelchair access. Spend some leisurely time in Windmark Village (5 min drive, 15 min golf cart ride) which boasts restaurants, shops, a spa, salon, LIVE MUSIC on the weekends, corn hole, ice cream shop, gym, an upscale neighborhood bar and wine/liquor store. There is an outfitter complete with kayak, and ocean sport equipment rentals. There is also a second, heated pool with views of the ocean adjacent to Windmark Village.

When you tire of the sun and sand, take a day trip into Port St. Joe (10 minute drive) and enjoy the quaint gift shops, unique restaurants, and friendly neighborhood comradery. Take a trip a bit further to the historic town of Apalachicola and enjoy more shopping and delicious seafood restaurants famously known for their oysters! On your way back stop at the local oyster bar where you will find a Seafood Market featuring fresh catch of the day, local shrimp, oysters, and even tasty dips and sauces.

Up for adventure? No problem! Within 15-20 minutes in the car, you can find horseback riding on the beach at Two Bit Stables or Broke-a-toe Horseback Riding. Book early! Boat rentals and charters available nearby as well.

Your vacation get-away is complete with two full kitchens, fully stocked with everything you need to feel at home. There is a separate in-law/teen suite with a bathroom, king size bed, separate entrance, living area, and full kitchen. The kids' room is complete with a twin over double, and sleeper chair (fits smaller children). The master boasts a separate master shower, king size bed, walk in closet, garden tub and is located on the other side of the home for privacy. Bedroom 4 has a queen sized bed. The home includes 2 adult bikes, a teen bike, and a child bike, boogie boards, sand toys, and a beach wagon. The home is complete with a washer and dryer.
