Ainutlaatuinen kolmen tarinan omakotitalo vain kuuden mailin päässä Port Townsendin keskustasta. Tämä koti sijaitsee viidellä hehtaarilla yksityisen tien päässä. Tontit on maisemoitu suurella avoimella kentällä, kahdella palo-kaivoksella, toisessa hitaalla liesigrilla ulkona keittämistä varten. Kiinteistössä on kosteikkoja, joissa on ankkoja, haikaraa ja erilaisia lintueläimiä. Ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on iso makuuhuone, jossa king-size-vuode, keskikokoinen TV ja puoli kylpyamme. Poreallas aivan takaoven ulkopuolella. Toisessa kerroksessa on olohuone / ruokailutila, keittiö, makuuhuone, jossa TV-huone, jossa erittäin suuri TV ja täysi kylpyamme. Toisessa kerroksessa on kaksi kannet. Yksi näkymä eteläpihalle, pieni pöytä ja tuolit, sateenvarjo ja puhdas BBQ. Toisesta kannasta on näkymä kosteikkoihin. Toisesta kerroksesta on suuri tikkaat (erittäin helppo kiivetä) suureen kolmannen kerroksen parvella. Parvella on kirjasto ja alue täydellinen lasten sisäpeleihin. Siellä on queen size-patja ylivuotovieraille tai lapsille ja tilaa yhdelle tai kahdelle räjähtävälle patjalle. (Kuten useimmissa loft-tiloissa, kolmannessa kerroksessa ääni kuuluu myös alla olevasta kerroksesta. Joten tämä ei ole henkilölle, joka tarvitsee yksityisyyttä.) Keittiössä on Viking-mallisto, Bosch-astianpesukone ja se on varustettu kaikella, mitä kokki haluaa tai tarvitsee. Jääkaappi on pieni, tiskin alapuolella, ja ensimmäisen kerroksen autokatos on täysikokoinen jääkaappi / pakastin.

Etupihalla on kanoja ja tuoreita munia ja mukava, hiljainen tie pitkiä kävelyretkiä tai varhain aamulla kävellä kahvia. Naapurit ovat erittäin ystävällisiä ja katu on hyvin yksityinen. Olemme 12 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Port Townsendin keskustasta, jossa voit tehdä ostoksia, katsella valaiden katselua, nauttia herkullisia aterioita, nauttia viiniä tai kävellä ympäri ottaen näkymän. Fort Worden ja Finnriver Cidery ovat vain muutaman minuutin päässä.

This is a unique property. The host was amazing, beautiful gardens, but probably not for everyone. The upstairs bedrooms have curtains, but no doors. The upstairs bathroom has a glass door (clear) that's not sound proof. It's a personal home so the sheets and towels are outstanding and I've never rented a place with a more fully furnished kitchen. That said, there are a lot of personal effects in the home including photos, clothing, and food. The uneven steps outside were hazardous for those with decreased mobility. I'm summation- lovely setting, amazing host, probably not for everyone.

Best family weekend ever

I came with two adult children and two older teens. We were warmly greeted and welcomed to the property upon our arrival. The house was so inviting and homey feeling. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking family meals including spices and dry goods including coffees and teas, Jack provided us with bread, eggs, butter and half-n-half for our arrival which was a kind gesture that we appreciated. Beds and linens were extremely comfortable. Communication before, during (if needed) and after the stay was great. We intend to come back for future family weekends!! Thank you Jack!!

Cozy home, beautiful location, & helpful host

We loved our stay here. Jack was so welcoming and helpful during our stay. The home is spacious with comfortable future and a fully equipped kitchen. The gas fireplaces, bonfire, and hot tub kept us warm during the cold days. It’s located a short drive from Port Townsend if you want to go into town, but there’s enough to do in the home/property to keep you busy.

Super Kind Host

Jack is so kind and thoughtful. He kept in constant contact with us as we prepared for our trip to his house, allowed us to arrive at 2 am, and had coffee, bread, and eggs ready for our arrival. During our stay, we enjoyed a very quiet and peaceful area. Jack is a very friendly and attentive host.

Beautiful home is a beautiful, secluded location

Jack was a wonderful host, and this property is really neat! A very wooded and quiet setting with a unique home and floorplan that we thought was awesome. Very comfortable, and what host drops off some starters just before you arrive?? We had local coffee, sourdough bread, eggs, cream for coffee... We have relatives in the area and will definitely be back to stay with Jack!

Peaceful retreat in Port Townsend

Great family hideaway

Jack was so friendly and helpful; we enjoying talking with him as he showed us around the house and property. He was easy to get ahold of during our stay too, as he was responsive via text and is right next door in a smaller cabin. The house felt very remote, down a long gravel road, but was still a short drive into town and was also a nice base for a little bit of Olympic NP exploring. Our kids were obsessed with the loft and all the fun toys and books up there. And I was obsessed with the great stove, cookware, and all the kitchen basics - better stocked than most rentals I have stayed in. The whole house was nicer in person than it looks in pictures. If we visit Port Townsend again I would search for this place specifically!

Was the perfect way to relax and unwind from a trip in the mountains. The town is super fun, with lots of restaurants. Jack was such a kind host, providing fresh sourdough and coffee. Would stay again!

Perfect Forest Getaway

My family just spent the weekend in this beautiful forest hideaway just outside of Port Townsend. We were in town for my sister's wedding and it was the ideal spot to get ready for, and relax after, all of the weekend activities. The house, the setting, and of course our host Jack, all made the weekend perfect. I will definitely look to stay here the next time I am in Port Townsend.

Fantastic spot in the woods

My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary in Port Townsend and thoroughly enjoyed Jack (the host) and the cozy remote home in the woods. Very clean and very cozy. We will be staying here again.
